It was hardly firm ground if you saw this years final day

If we want realism it will be good to firm but I don't think the game incorporates the Cheltenham drainage system in the same way it still has the 1960's style aintree fences as we will all find out next week!

How will it be realistic if the ground is Good to Firm?

It's a personal gripe of mine, not about the game but Cheltenham which I think is a truly awful place. Every year, despite the official spin, the going always rides at least one degree on the scale quicker than the advertised going.
It may be a great place for the craic and for viewing but in my opinion it's the worst in the country for the horses.

That is mostly because it is often run on firm in March. If you read the BHA vets reports from the post mortems of horses who were killed at Cheltenham, or most other NH courses (Worcester is another bad one), you'll find those deaths are often attributed to the firm ground. It has nothing to do with Cheltenham, but the ground they race on; hence all the watering this year. They CANNOT run a huge meeting like Chelts or Aintree on anything even close to firm or horses WILL be killed. The link has almost been proven beyond doubt.

4th in the Gold Cup. I really did think I had a chance of winning this one. I know I've only got 3 runners on the NH side of things but I've always been optimistic on snagging one of the big ones. Great run by Nash's horse though so congrats there. Roll on Aintree where I have one last roll of the dice to win something big on the NH side :).

Probably won't ever have any entries again after this season in NH as those 3 horses took forever to find!

After 5 winners last week I thought one at Cheltenham would do but got 7 winners :D the biggest surprise was Stag Party winning the Jewson I knew he was my best chaser over 2miles in trials but seemed to struggle so in desperation I stepped him up in distance to 2miles 4furlongs and Bang wins by 4 lengths :D but penznace win by 5 lengths in the Pertemps Final Handicap hurdle looked fairly easy but that was due to Keithbeaky running Seren oath Only in the race to keep Penzance on 10.8 thanks matt .

Troop the colour was switched late Saturday with My Tony and what a good switch Troop the Colour won the Fred Winter Juvenile Handicap while my tony disappointed in the triumph also Ned Flanders won his second Race of the season taking the Martin Pipe Listed Hurdle and Slave to The Rhythm and Someone Somewhere both won Group 1 Novice hurdles and Mubaah won the Group 1 Paul Moores Chase and will go to the National Carrying Top weight.

Face the Facts again Found On the Money to good Milk Heart ran well in the Rsa Novice Chase as did Guest Appearrance on he second outing finishing 3rd in the Supreme.

absolutely chuffed to get a winner at Cheltenham, in the historic Vincent O'Brien County Hurdle! hopefully next season i'll breed some NH horses that actually like soft ground.
