Get some more stories ready as it is great to hear them. Doug's stories about his customers were legendary but I have been repeating mine for so long now i am considering changing my name to Dave. Well done on winning it too (even though you beat mine).
As for my stable well I am on course for my worst ever season, and that includes my debut season, with just 27 winners over both codes in 9 weeks.
Sad to say my enthusiasm is at its lowest point with most things SO and league wise and that at them moment my feelings are that the league and myself may well be parting company at the end of the season. Lets hope Cheltenham and the final few weeks do something to change that. SO8 might never come anyways. These could be the last league seasons. Might as well enjoy it because it could soon be all over. On another note a good-ish ground chelts, didn't see that one coming. Plans up in the air now, need to sit down with my racing manager to see who's running.

Makes no odds for me, most of mine will get little out of the ground, but it’s chelts they are still running. . Only caveat to that is I am probably pulling from any handicap my horse blows up, the Ultima being the prime one right now.

League would not be the same without you Martin, if there even was one. Hope you get the bug back.

Know how you feel Martin. Last season was my last but it went and I didn't want to miss out, ok so this season is my last, where the hell is SO8!!!!
For the next season if it happens I played a couple of seasons in one of my games, totally ignored my flat games. I have other games like Satisfactory 10/9 that are gonna take more/all of my time anyway.

I think that might be optimistic because reading what mark has put on twitter/Facebook he's not even working on it. He put on about a month ago thats he been working on other things and now he's coming back to work on greyhound manager for the mobile market. I think he cares more about that market( makes more money) than the PC . Even if it came out around april-may-June there is a zero chance of a league in 25.

So close!!!!! Vivre La France so close to winning the champion hurdle in my opinion very unlucky in the run from 2 out to the final hurdle im convinced hed have won with a clear round but cest la vie ...in fairness to the winner he made most of the running which is some feat to not be swallowed up so congrats and well done . Blow softened by Spanish Archer winning the baring bingham or whatever its called for my first ever graded cheltenham winner so wont be complaining to much in what is a fantastic season for me in all .
Martin your commentary on the champion hurdle was fantastic and brought the race to life .Great job Well done to all the winners and thanks to everyone that puts the league on

Poor run LTO but did win the Fighting Fifth so not as big a shock as Martin seemed to think. 20/1 before the off, returned 50/1 go figure.

Hope you have many more in the future as long as you don't beat mine into 2nd again hehe. All Cheltenham and Aintree festival winners feel as good as having your very 1st winner in the league. And gratz to Paul in the Kim Muir, that's just crazy in your first season, brilliant stuff. Thanks to all for the races!

Thanks for the congratulations.... ...wow....where do I start?....first Festival and I've had five horses in the money including a winner from six starts Has to be beginners luck, my NH stable was thrown together last minute and consists of flat rejects. I will take it and enjoy it! And hopefully as Martin said in the comms that sort of thing gets people coming back for another season....I certainly hope that if time permits for everyone we can all go again, it would be a shame to lose anyone. This is a really good group of people enjoying doing what they love and long may it continue. Thanks to everyone who has given me advice along the way and words of encouragement - which I think is all of you. And goes without saying, thanks to the race organisers, handicappers, commentators etc and anyone else who dedicates their time to not only developing and improving their own stables and horses, but who put extra time in to make it possible for me to have a day like today. Cheers, Paul

Re: Season 16 Trainers Post Race Discussion and Thoughts
Good week for me, also thoroughly enjoyed the Arc, congrats Davy.
Nice to have a 1-2 in a 0-110, Zoro with his 3rd win and Cactus Jack consistent as ever with 3 2nd's. Easter Sunday finally showed some half decent form with a 2nd, Suprastar finally showed something with a 2nd, Lucky Brother also went close and with Rose Of Lancaster finally placing, all horses have earned some prizemoney this season. A/W Finals and upping some of these into Listed/Graded to try and sneak one Graded win this season is now the aim.

Ok I get it, national handicapping will be a nonsense……..I’d like to pull him and not spoil the race, but I have never won the national and his inclusion will help National Prince. Sorry….

Sorry…. Sorry about what, if u have a 4m4 horse then he needs to run in these races. Ive always said that there's not enough 4m4 races for these long distance horses. Some horses will improve massively over this distance , plus with my 2 front runners and Yourgolftravel its going to be a fast paced race and u going to need to be a proper 4m4 horse to win.
