Easily the best result of my league career as it was my first group win. I would still have him at 100/1 for the guineas next week though! well done Follis this is what its all about Thanks Paul

Appreciate the words Ghost but I won't be entering horses at any stage this season.

I admit to be curious as to how my horses would run against yours as I think you're one of the few that would be competitive. I don't anticipate doing any kind of breeding between now and next season because of my new job. If you're up for it Jamie, I'd be willing to send you some of my best exported horse files in return for some of your best if only to satisfy my curiosity as I suspect by next season assuming you continue breeding that you'll have passed where I am at present so a snapshot of the now would be better for me! LOL.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Day 2 3 entries 1 win - Nell Gwyn and a 2nd and 4th in the Greenham and Craven stakes respectively. Not much to say. Given enough pace, I'll be right up there. And without pace well, it's a bit more unpredictable but still placing . FWIW all my horses are set to challenge early and don't trail instructions with a mixture of even pace or slight hold up depending on the horse. Needless to say in the Greenham/Craven where there was no pace, the jockeys simply ignored the instructions. Hope this is sorted for SO6. Day 3 7 entries - 4 wins, 1 2nd and 1 3rd. Sprint maidens (5/6f). I don't see much has changed though to be fair some of the better horses were probably in G1s this week at Dubai but then again I also know what times I would have run at Dubai. We'll see what happens through the season but at 5/6f I'm confident Milers - one 7f maiden. 2nd. This is again in keeping with results last season for me. There simply are quite a few quality horses at these distances and these are the most competitive of the distances IMO. Middle Distances - 1m1, 1m3, 1m5f - 1st, 3rd and 1st. Nothing unexpected again. I'm still undecided on the Oaks/Derby entries. Stayer - 2m - 2nd. Tossed this one in case as I needed the run for my horses having missed week 1. 2m is a little too far as I don't breed anything past 1m6f so I'll take 2nd. For the week - 11 entries 6 winners. Not a great week for me Hopefully next week will be better. Whilst there might be fewer trainers this season, the quality of horses appears to be better. Quite a few trainers have closed the gap significantly which is a pleasure to see and I hope a little of that is due to some of my posts though credit to them for working away at their breeding and spending the time of course.

I did drop you an email around the time you were working on the schedule but drop me one to thedukesopl[at]outlook.com and I'll sort something out. Cheers

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R22 Ned Kelly (7th) - Not sure what to make of that. Never got involved and looks like he might need 1m in the league. He was best at 6-7f in trials and the only way he'll stay further than 7f is if the jockey gets off and carries him R23 Happy Ranger (7th) Solid effort but is crying out for an extra furlong. R24 Muffin The Mule (22nd) - Drawn wide again. Well beaten again. R25 Skye Blue (14th) - Dreadful effort. Given a hopeless ride too. R26 Somnambulist (7th) - Ran well until weakening in the closing stages. R28 Hope Springs (13th) Hopeless. another great day for my flat donkeys Well done to all winners and placers.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
I always thought that my fillies were better than my colts and so far it been proven right. I've always struggled to bred decent colts. I have no idea why. Ive won seven races so far and six have been with my Fillies. Lava Man 9th needs further, perhaps pick up a h'cap with him. Then Again 3rd Ran Well, hopefully can run well in group company. Celestial Storm 3rd , Happy with that. Kerrera 1st, over the moon and far away, 1000 next. User Friendly 1st, hopefully we get soft ground in the oaks, place chance if so. I'm shocked that my 3yo's have mostly ran well.
