I can start this from week 4 Yes please, so long as my horses aren't demoted even further down the field! Also when do the ratings get updated in TOM?

Quote: when do the ratings get updated in TOM? NH is up to date as soon as the results are posted Flat can only be updated when the weeks rollover so anytime from Wednesday afternoon onwards. It depends on when Gray and Jamie have finished doing what needs to be done.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R21 Dodge City Dame had enough of this my horse may not have been good enough to beat Cahya but for god sake this is now beyond a joke i don't mind being beat fair and square but in both guineas i just feel cheated by what the jockey has done there is a serious error in the race kit i guess i am a bit peeved because i put so much time into the milers only distance i bred at yes i use pacemakers to find my most consistent at quick times to come up with shortlist for finals but my milers were selected by how they did in final trials with no pacemakers they never did this in my ck even pace dont trail challenge earlier what does the jockey not understand about that the above image says it all again this is not sour grapes just very frustrated i guess

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Was the pace that quick for the entire race?
Is it possible yours is outpaced Paul? I know it's happened to other trainers as well, but all mine seem ok.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
I think by setting restrictive instructions like you have Paul they ride them rigidly no matter what the pace of race is.
With a pace going so quickly as that, by riding at an 'even' pace he is obviously taking a view that they are going too quickly out in front and riding a more conservative race. This is my reading of the instructions anyway - I never select a running style when setting my instructions, learnt my lesson a few seasons ago.

It's good to firm going though PJ. I've seen a time of 136:3 for that ground condition.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
The problem is Paul that almost everyone has the same instructions challenge early even pace etc so this is going to create strange events for some horses.

I've looked at the 12f horses you sent me and they are really quite good. I've trialled them against my horses and found a better batch that appears to run evenly with yours. I'll send them across though I haven't finished trialling all the potential candidates. It's a crying shame you're not in the league.
