A couple of good runs but a few real poor ones. Acatenango 6th, what a shocking horse Cezanne 7th ran a shocker Salsabil 2nd, had a good scrap with steve's horse. In the Groove 3rd, didn't get much of a run but was still poor. Gay Gallanta 1st, lovely run.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Castellet (7th) - Finished a detached last, he has shown no form so far Moohimm (4th) - Remains incredibly consistent Liquid Luna (2nd) - Just couldn't quite hold on in the Old Newton Cup, excellent run Mince Pie (1st) - A poor race but a win is a win Get What She Wants (12th) - Win last week, last this week Stand and Stare (10th) - A solid enough run Zeltweg (10th) - A very poor run Bus Link (4th) - Beaten a very long way
A winner so has to be classed as a good week
Thanks to the team for running the races

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Back in winning form after a short slump. Was expecting a couple more winners but that's racing. The highlights... Race 4 - Character Flaw - 3rd - CK trials and league form reveal he absolutely adores Newmarket. Really wanted the win but he got too far back early. Race 6 - Annah - 3rd - Bred some 2 milers at mid season. First time ever breeding 2 milers ~ with the hope of having a Melbourne Cup horse. Annah was undefeated in game and ran one hell of race to finish third here while running against her preferred style. Race 14 - Excuses Excuses - 1st - Mid season sub has a serious late kick. 7 is his limit. Glad he rebounded off his debut in which I expected better. Race 28 - Take It To The Limit - 1st - Was gifted a very low rating off his debut in which I expected him to run much better. He got a perfect trip rating behind leaders this time instead of leading like he did in his debut. Won a couple major handicaps this week. Not to shabby! Another great week in SO5 league in the books. Enjoy these last weeks of SO5 while you can. Soon to be a distant memory. Congrats to all but especially to Darren Robert for his first winner!

Got to admit it's a great feeling getting a winner from a homebred horse no matter how inappropriately named .

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
Just got back from a week away, some good quality racing yet again this has been a brilliant season for the league.
Congrats to Steve on winning the Irish Derby. Thought Heisenberg was going to hold on for much of the final couple of furlongs but your guy got him late on, well played.

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
2 Bet365 Molecomb Stakes Sheepard Express 2nd a solid run in group company she could be tough to beat on g/f
3 Bet365 Lennex Stakes Gallicktyne 4th always was going to be on the shortside for her
4 Bet365 Summer Handicap Super Tooz 5th she has been a disapointment really but melbourne the target maybe put away now

Re: Flat : Talk Reaction Banter
R2) Rifleman - combination of penalty and track didn't suit him and he trailed home a disappointing last. R4) Encke - Proved his debut effort to be worse than hoped, he got there in the end from out the back, will now head for the Ebor. R6) Zuniga - Giving away weight to his opposition he got a lovely tow into the race, and drew away in the style of a class horse. R7) Czaeria - Continued his winning streak, taking out the all-age Group 1 Sussex Stakes confirming recent form with Twilighted. He is all heart on the front!
3 winners from 4 runners today, very pleasing stuff.
