 Re: Season 2 Monsters
I have this mare that was ok in game and decided to only win her first novice races over jumps, went off as favourite for almost all her races and continued racing till 9yo. Fairly average until testing in the ck where she is a monster, just hoping she can show her true potential in the league. Turns out to be my best 2m hurdler and chaser so either I have rubbish 2m horses or she is something else. Still to trial her fully on the flat but I think I have already made my mind up on where she will start in the league.

 Re: Season 2 Monsters
Always a nice surprise when they monsters in the ck after being average in game. She will probably give you nice horses when you breed with her. Tends to be the case with those average in game but good in ck

 Re: Season 2 Monsters
I am struggling to get to grips with breeding in SO7 but I just bred this horse and had very high expectations for him. Looks absolutely great on paper and won most of his races in the game by 3-4 lengths. Just trialled him in the CK and he absolutely pants. What made me think he would be good is his pedigreee. His sire came 2nd in an 8f race on trial day 1 and his dam has produced a half sister that made my league team.

Same as so6 mate, for every 10 Uber looking horses only one will do anything in the ck. I bin full potential horses (least on the NH) with alarming regularity.

 Re: Season 2 Monsters
I've only moved my horses on one generation since the last league season and when I had the looking at the lineage of my horses I was shocked that my best racing-ck mares didn't produce any of my league horses this time around. In my game the stallions are more important.

I only train and trial full bar horses and as you say most end up doing nothing in the CK and even if one does something special in the CK no guarantee they will pass it on my classic winners from last year have been terrible sires only Tajikistan has produce 1 of my league team this season the rest produced nowt same with mares Park Royal produced nothing from 14 foals I'm just glad i found horses at the same level as last season improving has proved to be impossible. Will be an ultra competitive season

 Re: Season 2 Monsters
Well OBi was the best game stallion i think i've ever had in any game and he might have left the breeding but hopefully the family will live on. I just ran some horses in a top chase in my game and they got beat by this boy , i noticed he is a front runner and i looked at his breeding history and i noticed he's related to OBi ( Ceepeegee) on the dam side . Thats what i love about this game is u can follow their history and hopefully when he retires i'll give him some of my best mares to see if he has his brothers Magic at Stud

 Re: Season 2 Monsters
Sorry to revive an old thread, but ive been reading through trying to understand how this works better. How does trialling horses in the CK work? do you export them at 2, 3 or older? and how do you trial them but still use them in game?
