Re: FAO All Trainers: A message regarding the UKRA League
Of course there is one feasible explanation that could possibly clear all of this up. If a horse was to be bred and raced in the UK game, but then exported at the end of the season and retired straight to the breeding barn (in an Australian game) then that horse would gain an Australian flag would it not once an offspring has been passed off? I remember Matt telling me he would win the Melbourne Cup almost as soon as the league began because he had found a horse with a massive liking to Flemington (I have one similar with one of mine for Longchamp). So it would of made sense for Matt to import his better fillies into the Australian game with a view to passing that trait on and breeding better stock - the offspring would get an Australian flag also and I presume would have raced solely within the Australian side of the game? Obviously it will all be better if Matt could clear this up as soon as possible but I cannot force him to post the exact reasoning, that is completely down to him. Food for thought anyway.

Re: FAO All Trainers: A message regarding the UKRA League
While I find it all very tedious and I also find it laughable that someone could be so competitive they would go to such lengths to win, taking all the fun element and the 'game' element out of it, all I have to say on the matter is that while Matt didn't pile into Andy like the rest, he was very eager and quick to play down the gains of the 'glitch' and was eager to divert attention away from it. Though when Andy mentioned that he thought he knew someone who had used it, perhaps he already knew about Matt but wanted to keep it quiet to prevent further backlash. Not to drag you into all this Jamie, you in fact were the first to reveal the 'glitch' to the wider world, but it is very much possible that if you had told matt of the glitch he may have decided to use it to gain an advantage and maybe the fact that that advantage will have been nullified is a factor in his not going the league this season.

Re: FAO All Trainers: A message regarding the UKRA League
Wow. Who's next. Keep the accusations coming, its great. Best we contact MI5, the CIA and FBI to get Doc and Ubar to run the show. I think you'll all agree that they are two of the best detectives in the world today. Compelling evidence and unquestionable proof. Outstanding work guys, you caught me red handed.
Now I have a proposal. If anyone can prove I have cheated or used the glitch then I will be banned from any future leagues in SO5,6,7,8 etc. BUT if you want to stand by your accusation, thats Doc and Ubar so far, and I can prove you wrong then you will be banned from the next season of SO5. So put up or shut up.
I also think something should be done regarding Doc falsely accusing two players in such a short space of time. Its not on.
So whats it to be?
PS Fortunately I dont have to see Doc's tripe that he posts anymore but I guess I will have to unblock him if he wishes to stand by his outrageous accusation. PPS Dont drag Jamie into this it has nothing to do with him.

I think this as gone far enough this is just getting stupid i don't know if Matt cheated or not was it a cheat ? was it a advantage ? i don't know and tell the truth i don't really care anymore all i can say move on Mark as sorted the problem this was about Jamie being President now its about Matt may of been cheating. Sorry but i can see no end to this bickering amongst people who are old enough to know better its like being in a school playground its a game its suppose to be fun well i play for fun perhaps i am the only one

Re: FAO All Trainers: A message regarding the UKRA League
This makes the lge look like an absolute laughing stock and even worse makes it look somewhat corrupt that a former staff member is accused of being embroiled in this does not look good on anyone I felt Matt should have come forward today and explained a little about what has happened & about the allegations if anything to at least do some good for saving the reputation of the lge
for me an honest and integral person & more importantly Player i just can not accept this i think damage done today is going to be very hard to repair if not impossible i am now 100% disillusioned by the whole thing i have no idea where the lge goes from here i find the whole thing ridiculous good luck to all

Gray and Paul. I haven't cheated or used the glitch. But thanks for your support. Yeah the league is a joke. I almost hope Leon says enough is enough and leaves you all with nothing. Because that is all you deserve.
I have made a statement stating that I will prove that the horses in question were not transferred out of Australia at 2 and then back in to the UK at 3.
Paul sorry i was busy today with real life and I didn't come onto the forum sooner. Some of us dont live on here.

Re: FAO All Trainers: A message regarding the UKRA League
This is getting very tedious but I'm locking this post.
I will make an announcement on Thursday with regards checks that will be done on horse files. I'm liaising with Mark at present but just so that everyone knows. Any horse file that is uploaded to the league that has been changed in any way after it has been exported will result in a ban.
If you have any grievances, concern about this etc you can email me.
Any post that is not constructive will be locked. I'm sorry if this is dictatorial but it seems it is the only way to stop all the bickering.
If you not happy with this again you can email me.

Re: FAO All Trainers: A message regarding the UKRA League
Well done.. Just so everyone is aware I have removed this thread from the top of the page. I don't think it's a very good advertisement for the league. This thread brings up almost everything that was wrong with previous regimes and the resentment and arguments that caused, it is almost exactly like going back in time. If people want the league then stop arguing and start suggesting how it could be improved without throwing insults around. If you disagree with someone, politely explain why you don't think their idea will work. If you can't be polite or feel the need to keep accusing people, or insulting people then I suggest that you refrain from posting. There will be no league if you can't get on with each other. I don't even know why some people are posting if they're not taking part, but that is by-the-by. I suggest that Leon and Paul (maybe Jamie) discuss what they want to do going forward. If anybody else wants to put themselves forward for the role of president so that Leon can concentrate on getting TOM working and Paul can step back from the role, then post here and we can attempt an election. If nobody else wants to put their name forward then you will have to learn to get over your problem with Jamie being in charge and look forward to the league.
