Well that was just ridiculous, embarrassing almost, 6 flat wins in a day never even been close to that sort of number on SO7 leagues, 6 in a week would be rare for me. I did fancy a few of them having tried to match conditions to run styles etc but 6…….obviously chuffed but also a little embarrassed.

Three wins on the NH which is shaping up to be a very competitive season with Leon having closed the gap and Dave is right in there too with vinny knocking at the door.

Also echo the above sentiments, congratulations to the winning trainer of flat r26. :D

Disastrous day for me with zero wins on either code. The jumps continue to run very well, with maybe a bit of jumping letting them down at the end of races

Flat was unlucky in a few, some seconds an a few running wide, don't think any would have gotten close to Josh's mind you with the exception of Jixi Speedster in the gp1 5f. Was absolutely flying for 3rd an was held up behind horses for about 3f straight. I didn't think I'd have a great day, made even worse by Josh!!

Well that was a good day for me with some impressive performances. I'm up to 6 winners on flat not quite Josh levels but I only got 20 the whole of last season so definite improvement. NH I'm on 13 and normally week 2 has not been good for me so it has been a pleasant surprise

NH is looking good. My staying chasers and hurdlers look high class. Cat Memorial which I rate very highly was very impressive. Wil probably be rated to high for national, but in game won 3 of them with 12 stone so there is hope . Not sure where I am with my 3 mile chasers as my best 2 have fallen both weeks , but other distances look good. Doesn't look like I have NH flat horse this season after Dream, Daggers disastrous run.

On the flat Rainbow Explorer is looking like a group 1 horse. She is a monster on soft ground so hoping for rain at Longchamp and Ascot. My milers look better than I thought as well and I could have a sneak in either guineas if I get some luck,

Congrats to all the new winners. Nice to see some returning players and new faces

Just a note Cat Memorial is out of a 2m5 league winning hurdler and 4m4 league winning group 1 winning chaser. I mix hurdle and chasers in breeding and seem to have success with this

I thought day 3 would get better but it went far worse, too many being held up despite none being given those instructions and those that do get forward are badly outpaced.

Zoro (5th) - Stayed on well but was entitled to run well off that mark.

Rose Alley (11th) & Moon Crescent (12th) - 2yos are way short of the mark, but both need mark dropping significantly before winning.

Lucky Brother (23rd) - Nothing to say, will be tough to find him a win even off 30.

Lucky Moon (9th) - Was in a G1 and off 90 odd, but still wasn't expecting to be tailed off like that.

Druidess (5th) - Not bad, but another held too far back.

Rose Of Lancaster (7th).- Another held well too far back.

Kew Corner (9th) - Off that mark, disappointed with that run.

Dancing Moon (18th) - Very poor run

The Outlaw (5th) - Solid enough off mark, but needs to be dropped another 10lb before winning

Well shiver my timbers  2 winners at Hard Drive Stables !!

7 of my horses made top 5 and into the prize money with 2 winners which felt absolutely great.

Squeak Diamond 4th

Pavers Glenboy 5th

Enke Vain 5th

Molly Jive 4th

Michelle Grande 1st

Espirit Hollywood 1st

Wiggy Hughes 4th

I wasn’t really sure if I was breeding properly for the league but I did follow lots of the guide line and hints and tip in the top forum posts and low and behold it’s paid dividends for my sporadic effort I’ve put in.

I’ve always saved and backed up each season since I started (over 100 gigabytes on hard drive :D), so I can go back I to each year and check up on the lineage of my winners now and branch off if need be, but in sight of the New Starters Orders 8 on the horizon, it may never come to pass as a future project. Still, it will be nice to go back in and see who the Sires and Dams are, cos I haven’t a clue who they are at this stage.

I’m away in holiday so can’t wait to get home to check them out. There’s something quite not right with that last statement about being on holiday wishing to get home to check out my digital horses haha.

Congratulations on your two winners……. I have entered races for the league on a beach in Greece before so you’re not alone. Welcome to getting the ‘win’ bug.

I am hiding my head in shame this morning for raiding a ‘Hunters’

Thanks for the congratulatory slap on the back. !

This “win bug” has me constantly thinking of new ways to breed and analyse my game.

Roll on week 3 !!

Best of luck 1 and all !

A newbie winning two races in a week, this is just not on. Newbies are only suppose to win one in a week. Well Done. :D

A great end to the week with Grittar winning the Vuelka. First time I've had a runner/seen it ,well done to whoever made the course. A big test for my stayers this week, well I'll send 2 in the big graded race and I'll see if I've bred a bunch of decent 4 milers. So far this season and last my horses have clearly failed to stay 4m2 plus.

Strange week in all for me but finished off with Monterey Kool winning G1Hcp over 1m2, when he's probably a 1m4 horse. I'm chuffed with this as he's the main man from all my new experimental batch I've uploaded who aren't hold up horses. I went on an on about him on Discord an now he's 2 from 2 in the league, with running over what |I think should be his best distance of 1m4. Loads an loads of weird rides this week, jockeys everywhere deciding to ride my horses from the car park for no reason, on both codes too. San Pedro Dreams in particular, ran 10 wide the whole way, made his move from last to 1st on a bend 10 wide, an still just got pipped for 1st. He might be a contender for the Champ Hurdle if he gets a bit of luck

As expected the first two weeks have been poor for me. Just 3 winners on the NH and 1 on the flat. Doesn't surprise me as had no time for playing the game and my trials consisted on running my newest horses against last seasons horses and putting the winners in. Was pleasantly surprised when more of the newcomers won than expected but it seems that may well just have been my CK acting differently to the RK.

Main aim this season will be to try and win The Starters Orders Chase Final for the FIFTH year in succession and the SEVENTH time overall. Not quite sure why I do so well in that one particular race!

I think this is the first time I've had a horse in a hunter chase and I felt a bit guilty.
I shouldn't have it only managed 3rd of the 4 finishers.

Wow. I definitely wasn't expecting a winner. Thanks for all the nice words. Really nice to be part of a genuine good group of people.

Congrats to all the winners and placers in particular Mr. Bermenstein and his two wins and of course Mr Sutherland with a great gutsy win in the hunters chase.

Thanks to all who make this happen
Best of luck for next week.

:D

Barnstorming week for me, 8 wins on the NH, yes including my 2nd 2.4m chaser landing the big prize in the hunters, well chuffed with that…….

Flat was just ridiculous, 11 wins, few who have yet to back up their trial form but with winner in all ages and from 5f to 2m I fear I may have overdone it a tad. 19 wins after two weeks, half the wins already as my last two seasons total of 38.

Though this not being able to find races thing on the flat is a new experience I am not a fan of. Less foreign tracks this week will probably bring me back down to earth with a bump.

Josh
