Jester, novice horses in the nh, can only enter novice races, basically they are rookies in the particular jump category. You will want a handful of novies over hurdles and jumps at each distance. Grays post on the league team make up is useful in this respect.

thanks for that m8 i'm a novice myself compared to you guys do they stop being novice at any point? or will i be looking for just novice races the whole season?

Give me a list of horses you want to change to open. As long as they haven't run I will change them for you. You can't edit novice status as this fixed for the season
