HEAVY! I thought I was in a low budget sc-fi movie and had woken up in the 1970's when I saw that.
With the exception of one memorable Desert Orchid day, or possibly after the snow had melted for The Thinker it must be about 1980 since they had proper heavy ground. They usually have to drain the local reservoir of water just to make it good to firm.
It's not going to affect my donkeys but it might be a case of throwing the formbook out of the window in some of the big races.

The ground is perfect for my jumpers because only three of my horses don't go, if the ground had come up on the faster side a lot of these wouldn't have run. I have a love hate relationship with festival, I think I might have won about 5 races last year but had a poor Aintree but the year before that I won one race a h'cap but I think I won well over 10 races at aintree. I've never won any of the 3 big races.

Is the Glenfarclas race going to be run over the Cross Country Fences?

It would be a shame if it wasn't given we have the course in the game.

Should make Chelts a cracker imo....

But what the (proverbial) with the flat this week 18 Group races out of 33  This Running alongside Cheltenham with just under half group 2 or above seems a tough week.

a week for the Schedule editor for future seasons maybe

Races 1 - 10 and 21 - 28 are heavy ground.

Why are races 11 - 20 on Good to Soft if all the races are at Cheltenham?

That makes little sense, it should be heavy across the board.

In real life if horses run on heavy ground on day 1. The ground will cut up even more.

It would take the worlds best drainage system and a wickedly warm day to make the ground good to soft for day 2.

Then why back to heavy again. I know its not real life just a video game but still where's the realism?

Yeah but it can be changed.

Its an app that throws up random weather and ground conditions based on stats from the course over the past years
its been used for seasons on here why should it be changed just to suit you Peter
