Post subject:  NH Schedule week 12

The NH schedule this week looks unbalanced to me. There is a grade 1 4yo hurdle and another 4yo hurdle, maybe the second one would be better as a handicap. Excluding hunters There is a 4m 2f hcp, 2x 3m 5f hcp, 4m hcp chases but nothing between 2m 6f and 3m 5f. Perhaps a 3m and/or a 3m 2f hcp chase would be useful. There are 2 x 2m novice chases, 2 x 2m 4f novice chases and a 2m 5f novice hcp. There's also 2m 3f, 2m 4f and 2m 6f hcp hurdle but nothing over 3m.

Also on the flat, 20/37 races are either grade 1 races or AW finals meaning a lot of horses aren't eligible for a lot of the races. The Canadian international seems a bit of a surplus given the 12f G1 races in USA.

Last week we had a lot of stayers races 2m+ but this week 15f 0-70, 17f 0-80, 16f finals race.

I've found most weeks to have a balanced stable and been able to enter most of my horses in handicaps on flat and jumps but this week struggled to find opportunities.

Yes I agree.

Didn't want to make to many changes this week but flat needs a look at. I added the one 10f race but there probably needs to be a stayers race of some sort. I will sort it out for next season

The Canadian G1 has a rating max of a 100 so it may be a good race for smaller trainers

I will leave Gray to deal with NH. There are a lot of 2m chases

I have Changed one Juvenile Race 4 to a Juvenile Handicap Having 2 races for just 4yo means you can cater for low Rated juveniles and because Juveniles only run over 2m and 2m 1f you cant count these in the 2m Races Catered for plus you got Bumpers.
