| Post subject: | Races per year in game |
Keen to get people's thoughts on this. How many races per year (in game) do you think horses need for maximum improvement? My thought is 3 or 4 races. Does it differ by age? My thought is maximum 4 races for 2yo, potentially more at older FYI i play a flat only game but interested to here thoughts from all. |

NH 3yo - 4x NHF 4yo - 4x Juvenile Hurdles 5yo - 2x NHF 6yo - 4x Novices usually I throw over two hurdles and two chases 7yo - 4x Features races in line with what the horse does best 8yo - 2+ Feature races until I get bored with them. They don’t race from 8/9yo. I export up to 11yo depending on distance etc. Flat 2yo - 4x usually two short distance early races and then 2 features races towards the end of the year. 3yo - 4x feature races based on what they are good at 4yo - 2x feature races sometimes nothing though since all my lines flatline at 4yo Josh |

If u play a flat only game save the 5yo's about 4 or 5 days into the season before the potential go down fast. |
