Looking at the Legend Editor...

Image

Have any of you been able to accurately determine your horse's peak form period? This image is from Secretary who's peak form is June. Is it possible to determine the peak form period early in a horse's career? Or is it only visible after a lengthy racing career?

Only by checking results in previous seasons. So its possible with NH horses but not so much flat as by the time you can really tell it is too late.

I have often wondered if the date the race runner uses for a league race has any effect as they don't often use the correct date the race would be run on. This could explain some inconsistent form. It could also effect trials but that might just blow peoples minds if they had to factor that into the tediousness of trialling

You are right it doesn't show a date. Just declares every race is run at 1.30. Presumably that is why none of the Meydan races are run at night.

Green as in ‘run a bit green’ I assume means how quickly they take to racing, though I like these horses as they have good early potential jumps.

As for peak it is apparent in the game but really hard to actually be sure of since there are so many other factors like track preference, run style and race pace. It’s one of those variables not worth losing sleep over. Export time would be the only time it could feature but good luck to the trainer who does that individually on a horse by horse basis.

Running a bit a green is when you see a young horse, usually a 2yo that can't run in a straight line. It rolls to the left or right. That's why they like to get to a rail as it helps keep them straight.
