Blue Lake - maybe a double up name
Hi all,
Just noticed last week when putting my team together and rewatching a trail. Another trainer has the same name as one of my horse.
Guessing its not a issue and has happened before, just thought i'd flag it just in case it may cause issues.
I also don't remember the trainer and they might not have selected them anyway.

Re: Blue Lake - maybe a double up name
Hi
Don't think it makes any difference. I have had horses with the same name as other trainers and everything was ok.
When you export and upload a horse, the email address you use with your SO registration is also uploaded as part of the horses name.
The only slight problem that might arise is if both horses are in the same race, handicapper would need to be extra carefull about allocating h'caps.

Re: Blue Lake - maybe a double up name
Makes no difference as your trainer name and age of the horse are part of the horse details. All 3 are used for sorting and putting horses into races. The system won't allow you to upload a horse with same name and age of one already in your stable
