Do try to trial over a few different courses and goings and jot down which of your horses is most consistent at each given distance, you may have certain races in mind for the league that you want to win so you may want to trial you horses under those conditions, be it a G2 at such a ground/distance. Do follow that link though i'm sure it will give you help in greater detail, all the best pal, hope you find a monster within your stable. |

Thanks staresy, been to site and found what you said, gives me a bit more of an idea what i should be doing. Entered S03 league late in its last season and didnt do any trials, probably why i ended up with no winners but hope to pick up a few this season if i can! Nice job to all working on sopl site, looks good! |

I reset my horses ratings to 75 for uk then done the trials, is this correct? Should i have just trialed them at the what ever ratings they were on and then changed them when i know what i want to put into league? |

If you run every trial at G1 level, then whether you reset or not, won't affect the results. All horses will run off the same weight, with the appropriate allowance for fillies. If you run trials at G2, G3 or maiden level, then you would have a problem, if you didn't reset, as game results will carry over and may distort your trial results. |

Thanks colm. Another question..... What is gamebreed and homebreed? When you start if you buy a computer horse and then breed with the other computer horses that are available in the barn to make yours is that horse gamebreed or homebreed? ![]() |

Homebred is if the horse came out of your breeding barn. Gamebred is if the horse didn't. ![]() |
