To get one US winner in week 1 of my first season was pleasing, and some good runs too. I am very pleased with the UK performances too but I am amazed that my five flat rejects grab 3 wins in the NH. I was not expecting that at all so overall I am delighted and glad to be a part of the league as it adds to the game.

My best sprinter took third and that was about the only bright spot. One outta eleven ain't bad.....err, maybe it is. Actually, I'm excited because of it. I think over ideal trip and ground that he's capable of winning now even against the best. That alone will be fun to root for each week. A couple others are a little better than they showed I think. Not world beaters but might place in a big race or win a restricted or so. All my attention right now is on my iron game so this is the lot I'll have to run with for now.
