 Sydney Cup Preview
Sydney Cup G1 2M 3YO+
Albeeria (102)
Giddy
Hold up horse who's been running midfield. Big step up needed.
Alness (99)
Jimbo
Comes here on the back of a maiden win. Another bold bid expected.
Alla Di Fizzini (93)
P. Hogan
Been running over further and drop in trip might do the trick
Autumn (98)
. Melan
Behind a few of these already this season, will do well to reverse form
Castle Hill (117)
J.P. Burke
Comes here in terrific form and will be hard to beat here
Detroit (104)
C. Dean
Running well and got close to Castles Hill, got a squeak if gets the luck in running
Devil's Smile (111)
V. Gerard
Mixed form and just failed last time so live outsider if repeating that today
Dillon (101)
Kamo
Good run 1st time out but pulled up and in rear last two so best watched at present
Fragma (101)
. Hinton
Three runs to date and struggled. Same expected here lm afraid
Inducement (107)
Billbaggio
Free running sort with mixed form to date. Chance if settling
Kayf Tara (106)
J. Taylor
Lightly raced and been running well so far. Bit to find with these tho
Kriss Kross (113)
Nick Driver
Big run last time out and trainer rates highly. Chance
Loads Of Plank (109)
ESAgent
Solid form in all three starts and is the big danger to the favourite
Marfooq (100)
R. Coates
Pulled up 1st time out and only modest form since. Likely to struggle
Monkerhostein (101)
Staresy
Aimed high but bit disappointing. A big step up needed
No Drama (102)
Crazyboy
Lightly raced and raced too wide last time to do itself justice.
Red Ravenglass (47)
GeeGee
Very low rating and been struggling in Hcap's. Overlook
Rosy T (105)
Warowl
Couple of good runs to her name but bit disappointing last time
Sadeem (104)
Jason
Well drawn and some good form so not without a chance
Seriuos Look (75)
L. Cara
Makes her debut at a high level. Too much on her plate here
Starhill (107)
. Robertson
Been running over further so trainer looks for a drop in trip to help.
WESTWOOD'S VERDICT - Competitive little race Loads Of Planks has some solid form and should be on the premises but Castles Hill has by far the best form on offer and would be surprised if it didnt get its head in front again.

Castle Hill is actually named after that school mate. I hope it wins aswell. It trialled well at home but seems to win well one week then underperform the next.
