Ws just having a look through the track records on course data and saw that my jumps horse from last year, Moulin Lose, holds the course record at doncaster for a 3mile chase. Put a smile on my face that did, shame she only got that run and a bonus one at the festival due to the premature league ending. wish i had a chaser like her this season!! anyone feel like they have a horse who will break track records this season?? |

I feel I can beat a 6 and/or 7f record with a horse, judging on my trials |

yeh a few of the records at some courses seem beatable, but some of them are also freak times and have been the record since season 5 or 6!! are you willing to name any horses you are confident about liam?? ive always been unsure about my 5f - 1m2f horses, all these distances have massive room for improvement in my stable. the same rang true last season. My strong distances are 1m3f-1m6f , the middle distances, and therefore i would only expect my horses to challenge records across these distances. |

I'm always rubbish with horses between 7f-1m5f!! I've had a few group winning sprinters and a few group winning stayers, not sure if any will be breaking course records though but I'd say my stayers are definitely worth a chance at the top level....Never had anything special in the NHC, but in the US I feel I have some class between 1m-1m2f... |

Nah, wouldn't like to name names now being the bookie ![]() Though, I can't decide if the times so quick because the trials have had a 55second 5f furlong horse setting pace til inside final 2, or just because it oozes class ![]() And im talking 55 second 5f horse being a 2yo, no way I can beat any of the 3yo+ records |

I do all my trials at Doncaster and on good ground, g1 terms so think weights are 9st... I also think my 5f horse could go faster than the 55s too :/ It hits front just over 1 out, goes clear and they stop riding so it obviously slows down, i'd say I lose around a second. But if he has a horse pushing him in final furlong I might be able to get a second off that time too |

Well the SOPL track record at Doncaster over 5f is 56 seconds flat. When you say G1 conditions, is that open, 3yo only, or 3yo+ etc? Sounds like a good one. I would love to race against you. Is the horse in the UK or US leagues? |

one of my horses on hard ground can beat the 1m record at ascot. however the record was in the hunt cup so the horse in question quavers and crotchets could have had any weight. not sure how to (if possible) find that out. just going to have a look at the 1m4 horses now. my sprinters are well off the pace and the 2m4 record at 4m22s is ludicrous! |

your horse may run quicker or slower times in the league you never know. some of the records look beatable and some of the other records (especially some 5f records) look like freak times that wont be beaten. I fancy one or two of my middle distance horses to knock some time off a few records!! |
