Post Week 3 - a reminder and some news
Firstly the reminder. The maximum field size is 20 in a G1 and the horse must have run before. The 20 highest rated horses are eligible.

As a tip, this is the opportunity for the 'rubbish' horses to potentially pick up a victory. Rather than put your best in the G1 there are a number of alternative maidens/listed races for the taking.

Secondly, the main event.

It is my intention to have commentaries for the big meetings and for those to form part of a bigger build up. This week, the Dubai Festival is the showpiece.

UAE Derby
Dubai Sheema Classic
Dubai Golden Shaheen
Dubai Duty Free
Dubai World Cup

But for the NH enthusiasts I'd like to have commentary on

Maplewood Developments Hurdle
Paddy Power Gold Cup

In order to do a commentary you will need to know how to create a sound file on your computer. If you are interested apply below in the following format or email me at soplpresident@gmail.com

Commentator Name (not your real name, jazz it up)
Commentary Style
Flat or Jumps Preference
Favourite Racehorse
Favourite Race

Then at the end of the season we'll vote for the best commentator!

Missing commentaries so badly.

Was the icing on the cake for me, just not the same at the moment without.
Not the same playing some mp3s and having a beer, not quite as exciting.

Ryan don`t you dare defect to flat racing ever you rock when it comes to jumps commentary, in fact have you ever thought of doing it for real?

or John Hunt who is a %$nt at everything

miss coms on NHC races too..

decidedly boring without seeing or listening to them

used to do all the races on my own when i was commentating alone

and its not strange that NHC gets the %^aft again !
