Evening all, "I've had a dream!"

I don't know know how viable this idea is or even if anyone would be interested, BUT - perhaps a seller/auction race?

My thoughts were they'd be level weight races as sellers usually are, then the winner would be known when results are released on their usual days but then trainers interested in buying the winner would enter a bid, unknown to the other trainers, and then for example on Monday evening who ever has been willing to big the most would have that horse transferred into their stable to race for them? It might be a better way for the bigger trainers letting go of their not top class horses, without retiring them completely off the game. It might also help other smaller/newer trainers with only a few runners pick up 2 or 3 other horses to compete with throughout the season (maybe stop the 3/4 runner races too).

Anyway, just a thought. I'd be up for it!

struggling trainers like myself could find a winning horse

There are two camps as Paul says, those who think it's unfair that people can pick up horses which beat their own through no work, and those who think that it adds an interesting dynamic to the league and shares the love.

One of the new rules of the league is that the horses are all your own work (so save games can't be swapped etc.) so if we were just to transfer horses in league that would kind of go against that. I think there is more satisfaction in training your own winner than simply taking over someone elses so at the moment there are no plans to bring back Donate and Draft or introduce sellers/claimers etc.
