My worry is field sizes, there quite big already, with all the extra uploads can only see them getting bigger, Rich will you be keeping an eye on it? hold up horses have been having trouble with runs already, if fields hit maximum all the time i may have to change tactics when breeding and breed all horses so there closer to the pace which would be a big shame, i like my hold up horses but if there gonna struggle for a run because of field size then there would be no point breeding them that way.

What was the maximum runners for all the different types of races again?

Handicaps
Group races

20 runners is ok, Dont think you could get away with many more then that except maybe the handicap sprints they could probably go to 25-30. The big 1m handicaps would be carnage at that many runners thou but suppose they are that big really so could spring some surprises if they were run with lots of runners. Just trying to remember if thats what Rich posted. Hoped somone might have better memory then me .

I could be wrong and Rich could correct me but I thought that the 20 limit field rule only applied to G1's.

Personally I hope it applies to all races across the board.

I agree with Hackett, closers are disadvantaged in big fields!!!

Hmm that leaves me with 8 uploads for the rest of the season if i retire 3 horses hmm what horses to retire do i upload all in week 6 or wait till later on in the season when there is always better runners coming through hmm decisions decisions

i know one thing wish i hadnt uploaded so many horses at the start of the season

Remeber the stable size increases during the season as well!
