With all this snow and frost around, anyone fancy a trip to all weather races...

Lingfi... Oh wait, it's only raceable when it doesnt snow, freeze or rain too much.

Should be renamed some-weather track.

im glad, dog track anyway, i wouldnt have been having a bet but calling it off means i cant force myself to fancy one.

Id like to have seen the Irish meetings on and the Tingle creek but not too bothered tbh, a wee break from racing is good.

Yeah, i'm not moaning. I was only joking about going down...

I hate all weather racing, even more so in the winter as I class it as 'out of season', thinking the half decent and better trainers wont even be training their horses too much, therefore wont be ready to run its race.

After Hobbs said to a friend of mine that festival trainers focus on end of Oct and Nov, then forgetting about most of Dec and Jan then starting again Feb and Mar, its not a good time to have a decent bet over jumps either!

Haha I refuse to look, they're all dogs.

I'm surprised most of boxs and jockeys can get to tracks with last nights/todays icy temperatures.. Just wasting time, money and potentially their lives for a few hours racing to not even 100 spectators and a bookie.

Just looked at the race, for your sake.

This is awkward, but my mates have shares in a few of Brown's horses and he's been struggling since summer with a virus, but thats got now and he's getting back on track since they gave him an ultimatium with Doncater Rover on last day of season at Donny, saying "if he doesn't win, we're moving him" - he went on to fight a gallant, good second so they're keeping it in yard.

I wouldn't like to put 40p on an apprentice race though, nevermind anything else!

Lol I HATE all-weather racing I knew you were joking lol just messing, although it was Dubai yesterday and will be for a lot of thursday's leading up to world cup night in late march, and I can't go wrong there!!! Made in excess of 300 quid on dubai world cup night last year....Last night had 3 bets, 2 unplaced and the other a 14/1 winner!!....Suppose all the snow means I can concentrate on that and actually make a profit for once lol!!

Cause i wouldnt have looked at the racing today if it wasnt for this thread!!

Its on your head dennis

I do think it will take a bit of beating off 63, but you never know first time in a handicap and as you say, with an apprentice aboard. So bit dodgy but i fancy it.

On another note, Rich promised races early today when he last wrote last night - it's now getting on a bit. Let's have a revolt!!! I can't believe it, i'm actually missing uni... So bored, even getting bored of Fifa 11 and CoD!

That's a tidy strike rate, 1/3 with 14/1 winner!

I rarely touch Dubai, I had some nice very large priced winners, only a few quid on betfair though last year. I'm looking forward to seeing Ed Walker next year. I fancy him to win a nice race along way

Haha I'm missing Uni as well, I've got a 3,500 word case study and Dissertation Methodology to get on with and can't even get into uni because it's shut, and the fact my xbox and Fifa 11/Black Ops is at home, I'm even more bored!!

WTF was adam carter doing on that Mr Emirati LMFAO

that was possibly the shittest race ive had a bet on in my life, if it wasnt so funny id be pretty angry with that guys actions on Mr Emirati, im not even going to call him a jockey because that was like someone sitting on a horse for the first time in their life.

Basically pulls the horse up at the start only to then start riding, the horse must have been like wtf?
