In group 1 races does every horse carry the same weight? Is there a penalty for winning a group 1? In the B.M.W race this week, Scatters horse(Galleon), has the same weight as my horse(Sunshine Blue) and his horse has won 3 group 1's already. Mine is only having its 3rd race with no wins. Matt |

Group 1's are always level weights....Horses only carry penalties if they are running in Group 2/3's & listed and have won or placed at G1 level. |
