Another blank week for my stable.
Not happy but that's jumps racing for your.
Muchidoaboutnothing race a great race in 2nd place thought she was gonna win at one point. Congrats Dave, nice horse you have there pal.
Monnshine was going so well when fell about 6 out, nice win Rich. Top horse is Red Rooney.
Cad just didn't shine this week at all. Still fancy him for Cheltenham though. Cue Card won very well indeed, congrats Hooley.
Congrats to all the winners and placers. Massive shoot goes to Hooley, totally dominated this week with 6 winners. The Championship is really hotting up now, you take the lead by 1 win
I may have to upload some new jumpers in week 13, not happy with some of my horses at the moment. Far to much weight on some of them.

Well done winners and placers.
My best week yet, 3 winners and a few places.
Little Ring - race 8
Apache Skylight - race 12
Yellow - race 18
And my most pleasing run Dolly in the Leopardstown Gold Cup, an excellent 3rd.

Go On Go On Go On (3rd) ran well on debut and would have finished 2nd but for a mistake at the last. White Light (2nd) ran much better than expected as well but most of them were absolutely diabolical.
Well done all winners and placers.
Is Comical Ali (race 17) the league's first equine fatality?

Another blank week for me, stable massively fading after amazing first two weeks. A combination of jockey errors and mistakes at cruical parts of the race are to blame this week.
Chinese Whisper 2nd in the Deloitte was given a shocker by Mr Entright (who?!!?) but still a good result and performance for the horse.
Bahamian Dancer 3rd in 3m4f Vodka Gold Cup - again what was the jockey doing going so far clear, then letting eventual 2nd to kick clear from him only to start closing in on him rapidly again at the finish. strange ride, but good performance from this horse who is a solid staying chaser.
A few others ran ok but i expected better from some. Travelling Prayer and Optimistic Smile were never given a chance by the jockey, same with Glorious Song in the Rendlesham. Wheres McCoy when i need him?!!
Looking forward to Cheltenham but gunna find it hard to get a winner thats for sure!!

How can Game Player still be in the 130's after his last run. How the hell is the handicapping system calculating these rating.
He should be in the 120's, not 130's. You are ment to give horses a chance.

the handicapping system is woeful, especially for the nhc!!
i could give you a very long list of ridiculous handicap marks mate!!!
next season handicapper for the nhc is an absolute must!!

It's starting to get really frustrating, iv got Multi Charger who is on 117. That's about right.
Game Player has only won a maiden race and is on 131.
Cadabyr Bazyular has won a G2 and G1, and is rated 132. How does that make sense?? He should be in the mid 140's
Lippy Slap won a G3 and G2, and is 138, how can she be higher than Cad.
Am really confused by it all.

Seriously need to consider an Handicapper for next season. TOM is all over the place.

A horse's handicap shouldn't be based on it's group record.
Cadabyr Bazyular hasn't faced a decent horse yet and therefore can only be rated based on what it has faced. I'd hate for it to be rated 140 just because it won a G1. He only beat a horse that was rated 109 by 3L.
Lippy Slap beat a couple of 140 rated horses hence the higher rating.
I'm happy with those ratings. One thing you do make a good point on is the rating change after a handicap. Finishing 8L back off top weight should see at least a 5lb drop. However due to the penalty in the game of higher weights (it's virtually impossible to win off top weight) the game sees the top weight as having run to form (i.e coming 8L back is where it was supposed to come and therefore the rating doesn't change).
With a handicapper, and hopefully we can have one for next season, they need to be especially careful. Dropping a top weight too much will just see them yo-yo up and down and it would be ridiculous.
I would much rather see the game treat the higher weights a bit fairer than worry about the handicap ratings. If one horse isn't top weight (say Game Player drops 5lbs this week) then another one will be next week and the same problem repeats.

I kind of understand we're your coming from rich.
Has for Cad he has faced the best there is to offer in his first 2 starts same has Lippy Slap.
Though i still feel that Cad should be higher rated because of the statue of the races he has raced in.

Well done all winners & placers
Worst horse in my stable won!!!
Enchanted Ambry made virtually all...the 1 1/2 stone plus
she was receiving from the the rest of the field sure helped..lol
Doras Way (2nd) 2nd in 1st hurdle then its 1st chase methinks
it's only a matter of time til he gets his head in front
i surely did waste the horses time in its first 8 races in the bumpers
nicely done David & Matthew this week
is the wheels coming off Craig...??
