 Cheltenham ground
It has been raised that Cheltenham this week shouldn't be firm on grounds of realism. Please vote to say whether we roll the dice again.
2 days to vote, 80% must be in favour.

Fact of the day: Cheltenham ground has been good to firm 3 times in the last 22 years. Never firm.

trainers voting firm i say this to u - my horses prefer firm!!FACT - look at my stable. however i voted for realism , not for my own stable chances!! i urge you to do the same

I rate the ground types in order of how my horses will do on it and then pick the one they'll do worst on. Or that seems to be how it works....
The weather process is two stepped. Firstly the season is selected, that is dependent on the time of year the race is run, hence Cheltenham (march) is Spring, Ebor Festival (august) is Summer.
The season dictates what percentage chance of each type of ground.
Spring, from memory, is 5% Heavy, 15% Soft, 25% Good To Soft, 40% Good, 10% Good to Firm, 5% Firm
Then I click a button and tada, the ground is selected.

80% is asking to much Rich
70% would be more realistic.

Obviously if noone posts in this thread their opposition then I will have to assume their anonymous vote is simply troublemaking.
But if someone has a lot of Firm ground horses that's a perfectly valid reason!

Keep it firm so I can enter my only horse.
If you do decide to reroll then why not reroll the UK weather too since most dont like G/S. Lol we could have a poll every week on the weather
So I say keep it as is
