Steve, I know it’s very late but can you please include Australia’s premier 2000m race, second in prestige to the Melbourne Cup in the new UK flat schedule. It was not in last season’s UK flat schedule. If it means removing another Australian race so be it.
It’s the Cox Plate run over 2040m so 2050m would be realistic, if not then 2000m would be ok.
I’ll leave it up to you Steve as it’s a bit late to mention this.
Cheers mate.

Hi John,
The problem with the old schedule was a duplication of group races:
Below are the Group 1 races over 10f for late season. If I put the Cox Plate in there would be two identical races in one week.
9 32 UK £440,000 Eclipse Stakes Sandown Turf - 3+ Group 1 Open 10f
10 10 UK £520,000 Juddmonte International York Turf - 3+ Group 1 Open 10f
11 3 UK £350,000 Champion Stakes Newmarket Turf - 3+ Group 1 Open 10f
12 30 USA $4,000,000 Breeders Cup Classic Santa Anita Turf - 3+ Group 1 Open 10f
12 20 UAE $6,000,000 Dubai World Cup Meydan Dirt - 4+ Group 1 Open 10f
The one that would need to change is the Champion Stakes at Newmarket. Can do this if everyone is happy with the decision.
Alternatively I can make the Cox Plate a 4+ race.
Steve

Leave it be Steve it might cause others to want to include other races and as you say its quite congested anyway. 4yo+ is not real realistic so leave it be for now. Thanks anyway.
Cheers mate.

Champion Stakes is now run at Ascot for 2011, and the Fillies Mile, Royal Lodge have moved to Newmarket.

Causes too many problems switching races at this stage.
Want to have meetings with six races or thereabouts, also might clash with other similar races if moved weeks.
