Post subject: | Two Questions |
Firstly: I have two nephews who are now Starters Orders Fans. I have given them one of my old lap tops which already has SO4 installed on it. The game has the same reference number as the one I am using. Can we all be trainers in the new league? Secondly: I am transferring some of my flat horses to the jumps. Could someone advise me on which flat distance horses are best for the following. 2m 2m2f 2m4f 2m6f 3m 3m2f 3m4f 3m6f 4m 4m2f 4m4f I know it isn't an exact science. Any advice is welcome. Thanks Steve |

This is what i tend to find using a combined stable and over 100+ seasons of playing the NH game. 2mH/C - 5f-1m4f 2m2fH/C - 6f-1m4f 2m4fH/C - 7f-1m6f 2m6fH/C - 1m-2m 3mH/C - 1m2f- 2m 3m4f+ - 1m4f-2m 4m+ - 1m6f-2m4f Make sure you trail a lot, i find NH trailing harder than Flat trailing. You tend to get so many mixed results. Also another tip, if a horses prefered distance is 2m4f, trail them 2-4f up and down, you will be surprised at what u will find. One of my League horses last season Super Satin was a 2m4f chaser in my game, he was poor at 2m4/2m6f, was getting out-paced all the time. I stepped him upto 3m+ and he was unreal at the time. I cannot stress enough to keep a close eye on your trails. It's not just the winner's but the ones who seem to fade when in contention, and the outpaced ones, step them up slightly or down. Hope this helps |

Hemz answered your second point exactly how I would have done. NHC trialling is very hit and miss. On the first point, that will be fine if you let me know the trainer names at the start of the season so the flag can be ignored. |

Hey Rich, My son has been playing now and again would it be ok for him to have a stable, the only problem is there in my name on another game?? I don't know if this is aloud or not. |

Rich, My Nephews are called. Richard Goulding & Joseph Goulding. They will have their own trainer names. R Goulding and J Goulding. They are 16 and 13 respectively. Thanks Steve |

Craig, I wouldn't like to see a save game with the same trainer name. It becomes open for abuse at that point. If he started a new game in his own name, this would be fine. Be careful not to transfer horses as that could flag up in the audits though. |
