what is the best to use
a 5f sprinter

I usually use a front running type of the preferred distance. A 5f horse would blow up a mile out in a 1m4f race and lead to a slower time.

Front runners at the race distance or a 1f shorter, with the instruction to challenge early, I also used 2 pacemakers 1 to set the pace in the first half of the race and 1 to make sure there was a good strong pace all the way to the last 1f-2f's
