best time of season to export horses

Post subject:  best time of season to export horses
should it be at the end of year or at start b4 they race or in the middle when they are at peak fitness and have a few wins behind them

does it matter in trials if your horse has never raced in the game

any help woud be great

I always always export september/ october with at least 2 runs

Not sure how the flat guys export. August for 3yo+ and Sep/Oct for 2yo.

I've exported many times over the season with NH horses and i tend to find Jan and August the best.

Yes your horses need a run otherwise they will aways run Green. Not more than 3 runs per season is enough imo.

Haven't played in a while but what I use to do is Mar 19 and Early Oct.

Mar 19 just before Meydan races to get the horses who peak early (mostly sprinters 5f-6f). And around Oct 2-12 for horses that peak later (long distance runners). So I get 2 files of each horse just in case they peak at different times of the year.

This is a great point which l never even thought about, makes sense early peakers need exporting early. Will take this over to SO5
