Bingo Runs looked like he was winning the United House, but that last furlong seemed to just catch him out and faded in the last strides.

Commi Tassedy would have won in 5 extra strides. 2, 3 was JUST too short it seems.

They are the only two of any importance. So a good week for me!

My horses ran much better this week. Moth Hill won the 2 mile grade 3 chase, it pulled up last week. Eric Kelly traveled really well in its race, made 2 mistakes over the last 4 fences which stopped him from having any chance. He will always be a different horse over 3 mile 2 though. The Hennessy, the Argento Chase and the Gold Cup are the main targets again. I was happy with the debut runs of Cage Fighter, Warrior and Dream a Dream. Also saw some good runs from Sire de Grugy 5th, Northern Alliance 4th and White collar 3rd. Roll on the handicaps, that's where my horses will come good.

Great week for me with 3 winners 2 2nds and 3 3rds
Just A Fad needed every yard of the 4m2f to get the win and will go for the National whatever the weight.
Stoater was a last minute addition to the stable and looks like being the stable star after winning the 3m G3 Kauto Star chase.
Having A Ball was a bit lucky to win the last race of the day but I'll gladly take it.
The rest of my runners ranged from handicap quality to sellers.
Well done to all the other winners and placers and if that doesn't include you then there is always next week. :D

A much better week for my lot after the debacle that was week 1.

Fairy Footsteps - ran well in the first G3 on the card and might have finished closer still but for a couple of slow jumps over the last few fences.

Gloria Jones - would not have made my stable if the league was starting this week instead of last. Can't believe she made the frame in a G3. Great effort but might not have done her h/cap mark any good.

Peninsular - another good run from him this week and only 3 mistakes made in 2 runs. He usually demolishes at least 4 fences per race in the race builder.

Horned Demon - a top effort from him over a trip that probably stretches his stamina a bit too much.

Calcutta - jockey failed to follow orders and ran as a pacemaker. Ridden with a bit more restraint he would have gone very close. On the plus side he could be very well h/capped for his next run. Most likely race would be the Betfair H/cap chase in week 4.

Other runners who did well are Atlantic Antic, Crazy Lady, Royal Guardsman, Press Ganged, Winter Memory, Wild Bill, Dumbo, Lucky Star and Out Of Date who would have won but for falling at the last.

Well done all winners and placers.

And the great Gold Rush winning 3m4f against i believe a very good field
but now with 2 runs and rated 135 already , races limited now :(
Congrats all winners and places and all who have taken part

An ok week with two winners, 2 2nds and 2 3rds.

Sanctions placed at group level and Bring to Life and Prequel won their maidens. A few fallers but have some well handicapped horses now.

As I thought 3m1f was too short for Conversation piece and he will only run over 3m2f if the ground is soft or worse. Famous Duel ran 2nd destroying his handicap mark for the grand national. May have to adjust his campaign to take in group races now.

Not too bad for a flat yard.

Chilli And Mash - 7/17 in a Mares Listed race. Ran well for most the race and was just outclassed at the end by horses too good for her.

Night Time - Fell at the first

Damn Fool - 2/12 in G3 hurdle. He did win a very slowly run race last week but actually could have done with more speed on here. Thought he'd won 3 out but thats a long way to go still. Beaten by a nice horse in Great Endeavour.

Hermione - 10/14 in a G3 chase. Aimed too high after he maiden win.

Africa - 8/18 in a Maiden Hurdle. After seemingly being shot 2f out last week in a 2m6 race, this week he was outpaced over 2m3  So back up to 2m5 for him and see what happens.

I have entered all my horses for week 3 already after forgetting to do them last week
