 My Team Week3 preview
24 entries this week so plenty of chances but will only go through the big guns
RACE 24 Avatorr reapears in the Earlston Court Hcp (81-95) 5f were she will be top weight its a risk up against the talented Stanzout Trained by John Scatters who won on debut in 55.6 a quicker time thaen avatorr won in yet she is rated 85 and Stanzout 81 which has me scratching my head but if she wins this she could goall the way to the top.
RACE 9 2YO colt the unbeaten China Town Night is back after a winning debut he will run in the Carnival Stakes (listed 1m1f) he comes down in trip he should be competitive at 1m1 not ideal but hopefull of a decent 2nd run Asamour traned by S M Fisher will be the big danger along with Heavy Weight D Hooley &Face Facts Dude (-) scotty64 RACE 12 Caufield Glory will try and break his duck in the Westwood Animal Wefare Series Hcp (65-80) 5f after a very smart debut when 2nd he will have a good chance there are no race winners in the race but Aero Doc trained by Andy Morgan was also a debut runner up the 2 will be near top weight and could battle it out.
RACE 1 I rate Snap rocket highly and it was a hard luck story on debut when 4th expecting big run from this one in Town Moor Handicap (65-80)5f looks like she will be top weight but i believe she can win carrying the weight biggest danger could be Sand Dust with Leon van Rensburg this one is well handicapped
RACE 10 Dubai Destiny will race at listed class after encouraging starts whe 3rd and 4th in the maidens at 7 & 8f he runs in the Artcoe Design Trophy over 1mile not sure if he will be good enough at this level Analie - John Scatters Far Flung - Hackett Shams Times - iandavid59 will be big contenders be happy with 3rd 4th place prizemoney against them 3
plenty of chances in the handicaps next week hoping for a good week good luck everyone

Paul, I'm with you, there is no way Stanzout should be rated 81!!!
I'm scratching my head too.

 Re: My Team Week3 preview
I dont want to distract from this thread but I think with the handiaps the better horses are rated 10-20lbs too low and the lesser horses need to be dropped 10-20lbs. Maybe the ck will be better once horses are in handicaps but from playing the game again it doesn't change the ratings enough for me.

Ones That I Fancy Out of My Lot
Sprinkled - Had a Great Debut 2nd Behind Scatters Horse, Should Enjoy Extra Furlong
For An Angel - Was Happy With Debut, Will be Happy with Place
Asamour - Great Win in Week 2, This will be a stiffer task though, hoping for good run
Game On - One To Keep an eye on, think will run well
Roll on Next Week should be exciting racing

 Re: My Team Week3 preview
Race 13 Away Away ran 2nd behind Keberax in her maiden and I dont fancy reversing that form off level weights. But she is good enough to win a Group race and this looks a very good 2m2 race with Scatters running Annabay from last season, Jamie Taylor starting one off in Group company and Leo's horse winning well last time too. I thnk Away Away will place again here, with Keberax the likely winner.
Race 15 Can You Feel It will go to the Gold Cup with the yard confident of a place if not winning the race so running off a mark of 83 here should make the Hue Horses 4yo a good thing. I have a line through other horses to the Scatters trained Blade Runner and will be surprised if he can give us 2lbs. The main danger is likely to be the well regarded Botticelli after that one unfortunately was pulled up last time with a minor injury, so runs here off of 75. Given that Troy won a maiden last week and the stable think Botticelli is better, he could be the handicap bet of the week. Just have to hope there is some pace on in this race though and I believe that Can You Feel It can give him 8lbs en route to the Ascot Gold Cup.
Race 22 Trick Hats was very disappointing at Newbury first time where I thought she was a good thing. Her homework before and since then was that of a Group horse and the run at Donny can be ignored due to running wide for the entire race. Anything from Thunderspark's yard has to be respected off of 76 and without disrespecting any of the other trainers if Dimensia wasn't running then Id fancy Trick Hats to win this comfortably. I still think she is my best handicapped horse off a mark of 78 and as long as the race is run at a good pace and we aren't 4 or 5 wide again I dont see her getting beat.
With Come Free To Us running next week in a G3 our main hopes outside of handicap company will be Hazard, who bolted up in a 7f maiden last week, and The Dark Is Upon Us in the Earl Of Sefton Stakes. It is hard to know how either horses chances rate but I would expect Hazard to confirm form with Zoffany even though Hooley's Colt will be much happier on this testing ground. The main dangers are likely to be Soul Missile and Disputed bid from Mr Taylor and Doza respectively. Id probably take a place now. The Dark Is Upon Us has always held a soft spot in his trainers heart and he looked like beating the Scatters trained Perfect Image in the Portman Road Maiden at Newbury only for the Scatters trained colt to typically find more. Some other Maiden winners line up here too so again will be happy with a place.
Nap Trick Hats NB Can You Feel It
Good Luck All!
