 Week 4 Races - NH
http://www.filefactory.com/file/2kw3dke ... _Races_zipMassive thanks to everyone involved with running the races these past 2 weeks, due to unforeseen technical difficulties they have had to work around pretty odd timeframes and schedules. Hopefully we are back to normal for the rest of the season. Tell everyone how you did this week.

Re: Week 4 Races - NH
Really chuffed to see Boilin make third place in the Becher, his season target. Looks to be staying further than last season.
Still no winners.

Re: Week 4 Races - NH
Thought it was going to be a good week for me and it was, 4 winners and a number of good places.
Cant Wait - ran a cracker winning a handicap chase easily.was very unhappy with her first run as she was very good in the ck, just hope she dosnt be slaughtered by the handicapper now. Rock of Gilbralter - Fell on his 2 previous starts which left him well handicapped for the grand sefton. have to say i strongly fancied him if he stayed on his feet and thought he would have won easier but Hemz horse made him battle all the way to the line. Queen of the Night - was gutted with this mares 2 previous runs which were terrible but showed her true form winning her race this week and she should be better in the spring Skyscraper - Stayed on well on his first outing over 2m6 so thought he had a big chance this week and he absolutely obliterated them, onto bigger and better things for this fellow now i think Seaside - Was one of my biggest fancies of the week running in the hennessy, thought he was really well handicapped after running a big race over 3m1 the previous week and the extra furlong was sure to bring about an improvement in him but the slow pace of the race and a bad blunder at the 2nd last did him no favours, he finished like a train but was just touched off by a head. Large build - proving herself to be a very useful mare and ran another very sound race this week finishing second Degas Art - continued his solid start to the season with a good 3rd in the hattons grace

Re: Week 4 Races - NH
I feel a little ashamed just posting when I have a good week - but good weeks for me come around less frequently than Halleys Comet these days!
Obedience - 1st Moores Millions Stayers Leg 5 Normally if you have a winner over the National fences (see below) you would not cheer louder for anything. Obedience changed the rules though - I am so proud to get a winner in one of these memorial races for Paul. He was a true gentleman and is sadly missed.
King Of Venus - 1st Becher Chase Had a great chance off lightweight but couldnt be confident after poor jumping in last run. Jumped well here though and won nicely.
Beyond Venus - 2nd Betfair Hcap Chase Delighted with this run heavy ground run considering she prefers firmish!
Death To The Free - 3rd Cerco IT Listed Hurdle At first I was really disappointed with his run, but like a complete and utter muppet, I did my preview before the weights were out and forgot he was one of three horses with a graded race penalty. To finish so close giving 9lbs away to the front two looks pretty good now. Apologies however as someone put him their Naps Competition - don't listen to me again!
Stars And Stripes - 3rd Moores Millions Stayers Leg 4 Another low weighted placer and more points in one of Pauls Stayers Races
Well done all Paul

Re: Week 4 Races - NH
Another good week for me with 4 winners.
Soggy Lad... back to winning ways in the Grade 2 Amlin 1965 Chase over 2m3f after running over an inadequate trip LTO. Flying Bling... Gets the better of the classy Analon and Victoire Jack in the NHF race. Gold Eye... Sees the winners enclosure after the grade 3 Eric Kelly Chase over 3m4f. Always had faith in this one and today it delivered. Columbian Blue... Hangs on to win the last race of the day in the mares handicap chase over 2m2f.
Stoater just got touched off by the talented Dazzling Dream in the Grade 1 Betfair Lancashire Chase and the same fate befell Moores Minion in the IG Index Cross Country Chase at Newbury. I thought she was going to hang on for the win but a slow jump at the last put paid to that and she had to settle for 2nd place.

Re: Week 4 Races - NH
Grats to all winners and placers...
Very small stable this year and only had 2 runners this week.
Pine Creed was 4th and Aracebo was a very far 2nd to Hacket's Syntillating which won easily.

Re: Week 4 Races - NH
Eric Kelly ran a cracker in the Hennessy, would of won if not for a bad jump which cost him 3 lengths. Should be spot on for the Argento and Gold Cup. We haven't seen the best of him yet.
