Pre-Season Trials for Online League
So the flat schedule is out....... It looks great and I can feel the anticipation and excitement of trainers, horses and the world of SO for the inaugural online season of SO5.

I joined the league two seasons ago and have loved every minute of preparing my stable, entering my horses, winning races and also watching other trainers get their first win or trainers like Paul(PJR) winning the 2yo races which he worked so hard for. There are others but I forget your names and races you won.
Like many Im sure when I got the game and had bred a few generations I thought I had some really good horses. Well no actually they were superstars!!! I did win some Group races but if im honest they were weakish affairs and most of my horses were handicappers. I did win a handicap at Royal Ascot and the Stewards Cup so it was great. But the trials made me realise where I was and actually other trainers could also breed in the same way I did and were better at it!
So to whet our appetite and possibly help some trainers decide where to start their horses out in week 1 I will put some trials together for the flat
and NH if the interest is there........
I will run the trials in say a week? It wont be any sooner to give everyone a chance of sorting out their entries.
2yo races OPEN
Race 1 - 5.5f Newcastle Good
Race 2 - 6.5f Newcastle Good
Race 3 - 7.5f Newcastle Good
Race 4 - 9f Ffos Las G/F
The following races for 3yo+ and will be OPEN
Race 5 - 5.5f Newcastle Good
Race 6 - 6.5f Newcastle Good
Race 7 - 7.5f Newcastle Good
Race 8 - 1m1f Ffos Las G/F
Race 9 - 1m3f Ffos Las G/F
Race 10 - 1m5f Ffos Las G/F
Race 11 - 1m7f Ffos Las G/F
Race 12 - 2m2f. Ffos Las G/F
The distances are as they are to also maybe help trainers decide what trip their horse wants.
IF the demand is too high then these races will be split be either sex or age. There is no point having 16 runner trials at the longer trips as so many horses can run wide and/or find trouble in running.
What do you think and are you interested??
Please send all entries to matt_tully at yahoo co uk Make your entries clear for each horse and also tell me your forum username if it is vastly different to your SO trainer name.
