Trying to upload a horse into SOPL today, keep getting server error message.

Is the server down?

is it giving you an internal server error message? does your horse have an apostrophe in its name?

There is a problem with your horse file. I have fixed this so that it now gives a sensible message

The horse I was trying to upload did indeed have an apostrophe in the name. I removed the apostrophe in the export file, and the horse has now been successfuly uploaded.

Did you Manually edit your Horse File ?

Went into the export folder. Highlighted the file for this particular horse. Right click, then drop-down menu gives option to rename the "hrs" file. Back-space the apostrophe, ergo it's gone. Job done.

What horse was this?

The apostrophe was originally between the "n" and the "s".

I know your new and might not know but one thing the league will not accept is horse files that have been altered in anyway there's been many posts on this site where altering horse files have been the reason for them if we allow trainers alter horse files it would be the end of any league. There's been plenty of trainers posting about the apostrophe and not being abled to upload to Tom these players know not to alter the horse file has this would be a instant ban from the league.

You being new may not know this if the league allow altering the horse files we could end up with a the same horse in the league under different names this kind of thing is a instant ban from the league but you being upfront about doing this means you probably had no Idea.

This will need to be cleared up by Mark. How long have we been able to change a horse's name? Is this at all detectable?

On another note - Can a full brother or sister of a flat league horse race in the jumps league?

How do you put an apostrophe in a horse's name anyhow? I can't figure it out.

I have never tried to get a apostrophe in a name Sirius has for Brother/sister in different codes I am not sure it might be ok not sure.

I believe in SO5 Mark could detect if the horse file had been altered.

Gray, If you want to remove my horse from my stable, I'm ok with that as I don't want to be in contravention of the rules.

You can remove it yourself Cameron just delete the horse from your stable.
