The Good Old Days  . He was well under rated Gold Cup winner. How Many Gold Cup horses could win Turf Races in the US. My Fav Stayer of All time.

U can tell my age because I like to name my horse's after some of my Fav horses, and a lot come from the 80's :D

Just out of interest Gray how did you get Pontypool on there? Did you just rename another course, is there actually a point to point course in Pontypool? I googled but all i could find was this

"James Whyte’s History of the British Turf notes that the first races to be held at Pontypool were in 1838. The meeting was a small meeting, lasted for 2 days and was held in August. The course was a circular, flat course of just under a mile, with a straight run in of 2 furlongs. Unfortunately it was not popular and only lasted for one more year, finishing in August 1839."

Its a made up Track I used another tracks details and renamed it Pontypool I wanted to add a welsh Jumps Festival to me there's never enough Jump racing also I decided to add some Classic races on the flat so its runs under both codes.

I was born in Pontypool so I named it after the place I was born and grew up.
