As leagues do not tend to kick off until a few months after release anyway SO6 will be released with the RACE BUILDER module very much classed as BETA. On release you will be able to export horses and create races between your own exports. The plan is to then develop the kit to a point where players do not have to manually copy, paste or email any files at all. This phase is expected to complete around 3/4 months after release in time for any league. I have spoken to Leon about this.

As far as future development goes the current plan is to focus on online after any other version of SO6 are complete (Mac etc.). It could be at this point the online part of the game get's a significant or complete overhaul. There are serious flaws in the current setup such as the massive amount of grinding time required to be competitive and the problems newcomers have just understanding it all and getting started. The league is currently a hangout for the hard-core. That is fine right now but to progress it needs to open up to everyone and this means the basic structure would have to change.

Great news. Be a huge improvement if the breeding isn't just a case of who has the most time and works out the best methods.

Welcome to the mad house, having horses run fast times are nice but it's not the be all and end all. Its not always the fastest horses that win the races.

The on-line play news is brilliant.
