Really surprised Britton is running Haalan over a speedy 7f after he was staying on over the mile.

As expected Haalan outpaced most the way and hated the ground. Finished tailed off. Poor placing from Britton

I don't understand what Brittain is doing. The pedigree is screaming ten furlongs at least, so what's he doing running the horse over seven furlongs on a tight track like Chester just nine days after a decent run at Ascot over a mile? He can be a little eccentric, but it's so frustrating. He's not doing the horse's potential any good. This isn't money talking, because I didn't have a bet on the horse, but it's pretty annoying. The horse has a handicap mark so why not exploit it? The horse is good enough. It'll end up in sellers soon.
