Loved Wavell Avenue in the Gallant Bloom at 11-1. Not today though.

Re: Breeders Cup 2015
The good thing about that race was that horses could come from the back.

Re: Breeders Cup 2015
Stephanie's Kitten ran up the rail. Looking at the turf the inside turf appears less cut up. Why are most jockeys preferring the middle?

As long as you are outside of horses and not getting clobbered by turf clods. Speed types on the outside. Rally types up the rail.

Re: Breeders Cup 2015
Someone like to explain how stephines kitten kept the race. What difference was there to the secret gesture incident. I can tell you why, because its a european horse not causing the problem.

The Illinois Racing Board is awful and that just shows. The head steward for the Breeders' Cup this year is one of the better ones in America. However, the reason why Stephanie's Kitten wasn't DQ'ed... no inquiry or objection.

Re: Breeders Cup 2015
The Sprint multi-race payoffs show Runhappy, Kobe's Back, Limousine Liberal and Salutos Amigos being bet. Big win money on Runhappy and Kobe's Back. Huge win money on Runhappy. I've said here on the forum before that having watched Edgar Prado for many years - he is terrible on front runners in sprints. Runhappy gets along well with him so the horse may just be a freak.

Re: Breeders Cup 2015
There were two favorites that I really didn't like... Liam's Map and Runhappy. They both proved me wrong. What a monster Runhappy was. I'd say a 116 Beyer.

Trainer Maria Borell is all gussied up for the big day. You can't see her giant tattoo of Sunday Silence on her back.

Re: Breeders Cup 2015
Runhappy has just improved of the planet, hopefully he stays in training because there are very few good sprinters around.
