It basically says that the old 'theory' of horses having thicker skin on their rumps isn't true. It is only thicker than ours by about 1 mm and they have more nerve endings in the epidermis which is covered by less skin than us. I'm really struggling to find the actual study. But I just wondered what other people thought about it.
