The Ballydoyle horses (AVD Armory Tiger Moth Santiago Wichita & Magic Wand) who arrived safely in Australia last week will be urgently tested by Racing Victoria as a knock on effect of the contaminated feed situation which unfolded over the weekend. |

Two AOB horses are in doubt for the Cox Plate - both suffering from lameness. https://www.facebook.com/7horseracing/p ... 642033702/ |

I am upset this has happened - I haven't seen the race and I wont watch the replay. AVD was a class horse - I'm not sure of the thinking of starting it in the Cup with that weight. I think Bowman should have pulled him up when he wasn't responding at the 800m mark. The Cup is the toughest 2 miles in the world - it's a Hcp, it's takes a special horse to carry the weight and in the modern age, horse's don't carry 58.5kg and win. |
