My banker of the meeting is The Fugue who should surely take the world of beating in the turf. Kind draw, will love the ground, track, just hope she gets a clear passage and for me the rest of the field won't be able to cope with her turn of foot. 9/4 is a great price in my eyes. I also like the filly in the Juvenile Fillies Turf, Al Thakira.

Just started doping the races. Will post my choices as I finish handicapping each race.

Marathon - A thoroughly ugly cast of characters for this years running of the Marathon. Surely you Euros have something better than London Bridge to run this year? Wouldn't take much to win this. A race chock full of speed and horses who most likely can't get the distance. I'll go with the oldster Pool Play to grind it out in the end. Pool Play has a win and a third in two tries at the distance.

Juvenile Turf - There's no getting around Bobby's Kitten. This horse is the real deal. A Kitten's Joy with speed. Not many of those around. Should dominate. Got Shades for an exacta.

Dirt Mile - This race is loaded with horses at the top of their game. So naturally I'm going to pick a horse you're never quite sure if he'll run his race that day. Hymn Book. When he feels like it Hymn Book can be sensational. Trainer McGaughey and owner Janney rarely ship over major distances to run their horses - especially Hymn Book. They must like their chances here. For second I'll throw in Golden Ticket who is turning into a real hard knocking type that I expect to be a major player next year if he stays healthy.

Juvenile Fillies Turf - With the race void of speed I'm going to take a flyer on Nesso to steal off on an easy lead from the rail. Got to hold off some tough competition but looks worthy of at least a show bet. Vorda, Chriselliam and My Conquestadory seem the logical contenders for sane handicappers.

Distaff - Short on horses but high in quality the Distaff will be a highly anticipated matchup between Royal Delta, Princess Of Sylmar and Beholder. I like Beholder to make every pole a winning one. Loves the track and beautifully campaigned by perhaps the best trainer in America - Richard Mandella. She looks primed to run the race of her life and she'll need it to win this. Princess Of Sylmar's connections put up a $100,000 nominating fee to run here so she has to be live.

Juvenile Fillies - Sweet Reason is an extraordinary specimen of horseflesh. How she ever lost a race boggles the mind. She will destroy this field. Artemis Agrotera for the exacta.

Gone in big on Bobby's Kitten, Golden Ticket and Point Of Entry.

Dank too short for me, DOW is disadvantaged already running on Dirt. If St Nic Abbey can't get past POE in the Turf then The Fugue has no chance. Bobby's Kitten should be better than our 2yo's, Olympic Glory probably best chance of a raider winning. Bring back the synthetic so we can smash them again lol!

Filly & Mare Turf - Romantica is a daughter of Banks Hill who won this race. Gotta believe Andre Fabre has this one ready to run. She has to beat Marketing Mix who is at the top of her game and with Gary Stevens aboard will be tough as nails.

Cease will be having my money. The class horse in the race, didn't stay the trip a couple of years ago at Churchill but this is a faster track so there's more chance of him staying the distance.

100% agree. Bobby's Kitten has by far the best form in the US.

I've been following Broadway Empire since his first race this season when he won a Maiden Claimer by 16 Lengths at Turf Paradise. He was impressive when winning The Canadian and Oklahoma Derbies the last two starts. I worry that he's had a hard season but i'll be having a little bet on him. Hopefully will get a decent price.
