You can only transfer active horses from one game to another. Once they're retired they can't be transferred.

Click on retire to game pool on the horse screen. Someone asked that on here a while ago, so there should be some other answers to that further down too. The horse will retire to the transfer screen at the end of the season then you just transfer it into the new game and save and the horse will be in a new game.

Please do save the game after a transfer in fact safer to do it after each transfer because if the game crashes and it does, often when making transfers, you will lose any horses transfered forever. Better to be safe than sorry.

when a horse is in the game pool (you have to wait until end of season before it goes there), close and save current game, load up new game, go onto the transfer (game pool) on main screen, then your horse should be there, click on horse name, click on add to game (cost £20,000) then press esc key to get back to main creen, your horse should be in the game under your current stables.

I'm not sure what error you're getting.

One thing is that you can only transfer 6 horses per year. You may need to increase stable capacity since you don't have room? Is the game crashing?

Maybe post what the error message.

Sorry mate, its saying general import error. The game isn't crashing
Think it might be because ive transfered six horses, so i hopefully it'll work the next season.

Thanks mate.
