I'm new to the forums and haven't found any info on release date. I have the beta and really enjoy it...have downloaded some mods and some worked... Right now I have a dead game and would just wait until out of beta if that time is near.

SO6 has been released as a beta. That means there may be issues or outstanding jobs. Since release most of the gameplay issues have been fixed and the different game modes work well enough (though the Irish courses are incomplete). There are some other minor jobs outstanding.

The schedule editor is not yet include and also the online league related software needs work.

The Oculus Rift support is not yet in (but the Oculus Rift consumer version has not been released yet anyway).

And as said there are a number of Irish racecourses outstanding.

There has been confusion since the beginning that there are two versions of the game. The beta and the final. This is not the case. There is one game and if you buy the game now your key will continue to work on all future releases of SO6. There have been over 30 patches so far. When the game get's to a point where I feel it is warranted the version will be 1.00 (currently it is 0.935). After 1.0 there will still no doubt be the odd patch. Just not as frequent as now.

If you are having problems with the game email in or post in the tech support. Most issues now seem to be related to PC specs.

When will you be releasing a demo with Oculus Rift support? Have you updated it for DK2 yet?

Oculus DK1 support is in both the full version and the demo. It only works in jockey mode (when you are riding one of your own horses).

DK2 is unlikely to be supported. The mirroring is really flaky (due to the mobile resolution orientation of the screen) and SO6 requires the game to run in non rift mode for the menus and switching to rift for the races so it won't work. DK1 works very well.

Hopefully the consumer version will be released soon but only Oculus know when. If possible we plan to support that.
