Lovely horse! Had a few like that crop up in my game but rarely have they gone to the breeding barn - and rarer still to the auctions. Managed to buy one once, and breed from another but the majority just retire or die sadly. Hope you get a chance to breed to him and see what you can get!

This is a bit 'cheaty', but if you really want to keep a horse in game then save on the last day of the season. If it isn't retired to stud and isn't kept in training then ctrl-alt-del out of the game and restart and wait until it is retired to stud. That way you can guarantee you'll get it for one season.
