Was 50% at 2yo, 85% at 3yo. Had a few 100% starter horses but this is the best one. Do I retire him to the breeding barn at 4 or race on? Yasmin

Re: Breeding diary
Sadly no. I don't quite understand your "Blue Hen" reference, but this was a Yearling colt that I did not, in fact, keep (I actually found better potentials with secondary / tertiary bars that were just about as good).

Re: Breeding diary
A Blue Hen is a mare who produces numerous top horses. Many Group winners. A mare you can trust to produce something good. Here's one of mine currently in the shed... I'm only keeping 5-6 furlong horses in my game I'm playing now. Firebird above won the Golden Slipper in her second start. Then I noticed she was a 7 furlong horse. Her stats weren't exceptional. She had to go. I sold her for 9 million. She made 2 million in two starts. A nice tidy profit.

Re: Breeding diary
I'v just noticed that some of my horses are losing anywhere between 15 and 30 points on their Cruising Burst bar, when looking at them from beginning of 1yo season to the beginning of the 2yo season.
Is this common?

Is this common? Yes, it will likely be all of your horses. Speed/stamina/acceleration will also change. All 4 should go back up at 3yo. I think it might be a bug that they are as high as they are at 1yo.

Re: Breeding diary
Heading to the breeding barn. Perfect record with no reloads, American Triple-Crown winner, almost 30M in winnings in his 4yo season. He was "set him and forget him" (the best kind) - won 9-12 furlong races by 3-7 lengths. (StartIt mod used.) As a side note... TinyPic is shutting down, so what photo service are people moving to / using other than TinyPic? PhotoBucket?

Re: Breeding diary
What is the highest Cruising Burst that I can realistically expect to get into my horses? Can it reach 100?
Iv got a couple of mares with about 80, but I cant find any stallions that high to even breed her with.

Re: Breeding diary
Thanks ghostzapper!
I believe the highest Cruising Burst is 85. The horse will pick up 15 points on its own @ 3yo.

Re: Breeding diary
I think I'm finally making some progress. https://pasteboard.co/IpZwRc8.pnghttps://pasteboard.co/IpZx3oC.pnghttps://pasteboard.co/IpZxeRz.pnghttps://pasteboard.co/IpZxqBQ.pnghttps://pasteboard.co/IpZxW6i.pngWhere do I go from here? New game and hope for some game stallions who can improve my mares? Or keep breeding from my stallions? I'm finding that gamebreds with good stats are still giving me crap horses, but using my own stallions tends to pass the genes on better. Can somebody show me stats of an average league horse? So I know what I'm aiming for. (Well aware that I'll be miles away at present)

Re: Breeding diary
Anyone having breeding "issues" with v0.133 when breeding to game-breds? Here's a mare I have: She typical of my current mare quality. Breeding 15 mares to game-bred Mitchum Court, who won *46* G1s. They're not even producing horses with 90% potential as 1yo's. No idea what's going on.

Hopefully full potential by the time they reach 4yo.
