ya this has only started to happen in the last month or so Think the max stud fee should be set to 500,000 |

Either the cost needs to come down relative to real life, (Fastnet Rock was about $195000AUD per cover) or the stats for stud horses need to be shown to determine whether its worth paying such amount or whether your paying overs for studs that couldnt produce a 3 legged donkey. Also I have a quick question regarding breeding. I had a yearling in my barn who was 100 rated for speed. When he came to my stable as a 2yo his speed rating reduced to 77.5. Is this a normal occurance or is this a bug ?? His Sire was rated 67.5 but his dam was rated 100. |

It happens to me quite a bit. I’ve noticed that it sometimes goes back up during the two year old season, or when the horse turns 3. Yasmin |

He's a homebred from several gens but the only horse that i have had run like this in trials i dont give my jockeys instructions when exporting so he is just a freakish trailblazer well for 4 furlongs he'd make a class pacemaker being a homebred his bars are strong |

Notice it in majority of my 2yo horses. Also that the CB goes from A at 1yo to B at 2yo and back to A again at 3yo, though this is for every horse. |

That is something I'd really like to know and have asked the question before in the hope that Mark would give some insight. Basically could it be that some stats are capable of being kept in linage but just skip through the generations??? I'd like to think it can happen. |

Hi, I think there is a hidden genetics bar, and that determines how good offspring are. When I bred the stallion and mare together the bars where 90% potential. The Stallion was a AI. Don’t know wether that had anything to do with it. I was expecting a 90% horse not one that developed at the age of 5 into a 100% horse. Yasmin |

Did it ever reach 140? I'm yet to get a sprinter over about 132. Most 10f+ horses I can get to 140. What kind of times has it run (past performances)? |

Best I've managed: 60 G1 wins, retired after her 6th year season for breeding. Used StartIt though, so might be a little bit of a cheat because there's many more G1 opportunities. Even though her breeding indicator was 6f she ran best at a mile. |
