I've got a horse I don't get. It has a primary Start bar that's roughly an 82 and yet every single race it gets out of the gate last and often more than 2 lengths behind before catching back up. What gives? |

I don't always trust what the Red bars indicate. I have horses with high start bars that start slowly, I have jumpers with 60 jumps bars that fall in every 2nd or 3rd race. The red bars are an indicator but maybe race conditions or hidden variables seem to take over. |
