Royal Ascot 2YOs
How does everyone get their 2 year olds ready for Royal Ascot? I always seem to have them going off near favourite but finishing nowhere. I only tend to target my mature and forward horses, and normally run them twice in maidens before ascot but it is quite a steep hike in grade, does anyone do anything differently?

Re: Royal Ascot 2YOs
Depending on how many 2yos i have. Sometimes i do what you do and do 2 maidens then into Royal Ascot.
I'm only using the starting schedule so in honest there isn't many other options really. There's the Woodcote(6f) and National stakes(5f) in England. Then think there's 1 or 2 races in South Africa.
You've got to try and find the right races at Ascot, i tend to try and run the horses over 5f and 6f even if it wins easily over 5f on debut.
