The game has a wicked sense of humor. It retired Le Vie Dei Colori the very next season. This season all of my top mares will be bred to his best son that I own. The anticipation of what his foals look like begins. I hate breeding tons of mares to what I think is a sure thing and then finding out they're mostly duds. Fingers crossed.

I just gotta post this. La Vie Dei Colori's Group 1 winners. Having a bunch of them it's clear he has a high battling qualities bar along with a high potential. I'm playing league mode so the bars are hidden. If you see the terms "battled back" or "gamely" multiple times or even just once in the form comments of your horse it means they have a high battling qualities bar. It only comes into play if your horse is running head and head with another in the stretch. Easily the best sire I have ever seen in any version of the game.
