Have some runners above 1m2f in 2yrs, struggling on how to train and plan them. I have to push them when they turn 3 and make us of south Africa races in early stage to push them. Is that useful? |

Any 2yo that is 1m3f or longer in breeding I always give them the first four months off. Just special training only. Then starting on the fifth month I medium train them for the whole month. On the first day of month six I enter them in races. They'll have around three races for their 2yo season. I don't mind if they are outrun; their future is in long distance races when they are older. |
